How to Apply

Select Program & Application Round
The UChicago master's application is an opportunity for prospective students worldwide to apply to over 20 participating master's programs in a streamlined application process.

The application for 2027 enrollment is open to candidates who will have received a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) by the time they would enroll.

Applicants who are current college juniors are eligible to apply for entry in 2028 through the Advanced Scholars application type.

Prepare Application Materials
Students are required to submit the following for all participating programs:

• Undergraduate transcript showing a strong academic record.

• Two letters of recommendation from professors or mentors familiar with your academic work.

• Resume or CV detailing any relevant experience, extracurriculars, or internships.

• Personal statement outlining your interest in pursuing a master's degree at UChicago or a supplement specific to your program.

Submit Application and Complete Program Supplement
Complete the online application and upload all required documents by the application round deadline.

After submitting the initial application, applicants can complete any program-specific supplements, if required, via the application portal.
